Had to buy a late MR2 3sge engine and loom, and modify the sump to accept a crank position sensor, as well as a hundred other little critical jobs. The intake of the beams is too far back, and the wrong way round, so need to get it cut and turned over, not sure how it will work yet until I take the engine out of the MR and try the Beams in. It has been tricky to fit as it has to swap direction, and also needs to be built to MSA roadgoing class specs, so I can't cut the body of the MR, this means I only have 1mm clearance between the strut tower and intake cam, so had to make solid mounts. and my workshop is now clear, so should be a lot of progress in the next couple of weeks. I have been using the MR for work this week, and the flame has been rekindled. ![]() Its all going well, but I bought an S13 so I could have ago at drifting whilst the MR was off the road, but I fell a little bit in love with it, so the MR has been sidetracked. Yep thats me, you are in my phone as 'dale beams', my name is Rich.
